Information

The financial industry is known for both Intensive information processing and overwhelming regulatory requirements. In the case of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, not only do national legislators impact the banking business, but legislation from the European Union and the European Central Bank also raise the bar of rules and restrictions. In order to meet the required IT security standards, the Landesbank has implemented processes for continuous structural analysis that foster a deep understanding and management of all components of the bank's IT landscape.

This presentation will show how the bank links architecture information from LeanIX with process management, outsourcing management, and IT service management. The audience will learn how the bank monitors, assesses and manages risks by linking data sources rather than creating an additional data warehouse: The state bank has implemented a business ID for business applications that is now well integrated with the bank's various business processes. Thanks to the early decision to make LeanIX the single source of truth for its applications, the Landesbank is not only able to respond smoothly to new regulatory requirements, but also to enrich existing and new use cases in IT management and beyond that are supported by LeanIX.
